Matthew Dickson, P.E. is principal and founder of MGD Process Technology Inc. specializing in wastewater treatment equipment supply and consulting engineering. He has 25 years experience in the water and wastewater industries with a focus on process equipment applications and construction.
Matt also provides consulting services including project management and engineering for major equipment manufacturers and engineering firms. Capabilities include assistance with equipment application and design as well as management services. Project management services include equipment procurement, scheduling, construction coordination and start-up and commissioning assistance.
Major consulting projects include:
· 250 metric ton/day household waste composting facility, Mindarie, Australia
· 200 ton/day biosolids composting facility, Burlington County, NJ
Prior to founding MGD in 2006, Matt served as a project manager and project engineer for Geologic Services Corporation, an environmental consulting firm. From 1993 through 1999 he held positions of applications manager and project engineer for U.S. Filter Inc. In addition, he has 10 years experience in the construction industry as an estimator, field engineer and project manager for projects involving highway and heavy construction, water and wastewater treatment systems and water storage facilities.
Matt earned a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA.
Matt is a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer and holds a Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators license. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Water Environment Federation.
