The Turborator® can be supplied with the Controlled Air Flow (CAF) option.This allows for direct, independent control of the airflow, without adjusting the speed of the impeller.The CAF system requires additional 120 volt power and a control signal to each unit to regulate the air flow. CAF can be used in conjunction with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to allow for the most flexibility in controlling both mixing and aeration. Please contact us for more information.

Each Turborator® is supplied with a severe duty premium efficient motor suitable for use with a variable speed drive (VFD).Varying the speed of the impeller within the aeration range allows for control of the air volume drawn into the liquid, which can be used to control dissolved oxygen or temperature.This enhances process control and maximizes the energy efficiency of the Turborator.
